What a strange dream.

Leaving things of import behind in a place that's been seriously sterilized-- and I'd need to put special clothes on to go back in. Not to mention being with another partner figure again, though this one much more reliable. Lots of running from some sort of danger before the sterilization happened and trying to save as many people as I could before the said horrible thing happened.

It must be the junk food.

Oh, and also....... Assassin's Creed is so pretty *_*... and the idea of genetic memory is really cool.
Well, I'm not a savvy American citizen according to this test. This isn't something to be ashamed of to some. Then again, it's an internet test-- clearly not something people should concern themselves over.

I got most of the early United States history questions right... and a serious decline toward the beginning of the 20th century. Might be because I never studied it and never lived then. (Well, maybe once, when I was in high school-- all I remember is the comstock something or other and "Let's raise some hell and not some corn!")

But it's good for a laugh, I'm sure friends who paid more attention in school would be able to run circles around me in this respect.

Aclipse vs AEON

Something happened that I didn't expect to have happen and it leaves me wondering what I should do.

I was contacted by Aclipse via monster.com about a teaching position in South Korea (I think). I don't speak any Korean, otherwise I'd be more excited, but I've met more than a little resistance from my family and friends, so I'm a bit leery of them. I also know that if I live in Korea I'd pick up some grammar and likely be given lessons, but I'm a bit burnt out on learning another language (no matter how similar they might be). They called me today, scheduled an interview for this Friday over the phone. I told them my preference was Japan, and the recruiter informed me that they just received a contract there, but at the same time I'm wondering if it's worth a risk. They sent me another email for consideration before my interview, but only with S. Korea and China positions.

My other option, (my first one) which I'm much more secure feeling with is AEON, an eikaiwa in Japan that I've seen before when I lived there. I wondered what it was and finally figured it out toward the end, but never was much interested. That is until I needed a job and felt more confident with actually applying in other places. AEON has a more concrete schedule, more secure everything, and they're Japan.

I guess the point of this post is to ask what you all would do given this situation. Aclipse might hire me sooner-- or offer a position sooner, but AEON is one I made previous plans with and have a monetary obligation to, given my plane tickets are paid for.

My current plans are to hear them both out (Hey, opportunity knocks, right?) and choose after. Perhaps, if Aclipse is serious, they'd give me enough time to hear back from AEON. And AEON's not a certain bet that I'll be hired, either. Neither of these are, but I'm going to do my best to make myself a competitive candidate. As much as I hate to be competitive.

Well, now... now I find out that if you write a cover letter your chances may be increased.

Right, so here's to hoping I get the receptionist job. Sounds like stuff I can do. Pays well, not too far away.

Also, Tseng in Purg ): HE'S NOT NERVOUS TO MEET THE RUFUS WHO HAS HAD TWO <strike>FAIL</strike> TSENGS BEFORE, NO. NEVER. <strike>saldjf;laskdfjaoehrweoualdsfn</strike>

Link also, has a bone <strike>read: boner</strike> to pick <strike> read: arouse</strike> with Sheik in regards to their <strike>fight</strike> spat, kay.

Leon is reading Schu's log and is amused but not surprised to learn that Wesker's mind has been seen into, and that he has certain fantasies that are of interest, but not import. <strike>And what a view</strike>

Also, sorry for my wanktitanic recently. It's really just disgusting on my part, but so it goes.

I wouldn't be in such a good mood today if my Wii had actually died last night. I walked in and the power light wasn't lit... and when I pressed buttons nothing happened... and when I replugged nothing happened... so it looked like it was totally dead.

But then I went to the troubleshooting website and somehow made it work. So it's all good, but yesterday was pretty shitty, let me tell you.

In reference to those affected by the arrest: Friends will make it, they're strong. Won't be seeing someone for two months. Gives me time to charge my <strike>over</strike> level 9000 punch attack.

Paypal finally refunded me my money, which should be deposited into my bank account soon. I'll call my bank on Monday and get the dollar fees figured out. (Paypal charged me a dollar for making a mistake. Nickel and diming me, huh?)

Now that that's over, I'm relieved on one front. Monday will also tell me if I got paid or not by the jobplace.

Still no word from the doctor's office. But if that falls through... and if I get selected for AEON or GEOS, I think I'll be making a trip back to Japan. Frealz, this time. (since I have to make money) Can't have it all but I can have a lot of it. Maybe this time... I'd be stronger.

Maybe this week I'll hear something. I've thought to also use monster.com and careerbuilder, perhaps.
